LSI Wipe-On / Roll-On Label Applicators

These wipe-on or roll-on type applicators are ideal for applications where the product may have an irregular surface or a recessed area. An effective wipe-on / roll-on application is when the conveyor speed and the label web speed are consistent with one another. The roller or brush is then used to wipe-on the label.

Model 020/021 Wipe-On / Roll-On Applicator

The roller, made of foam or rubber, is spring loaded and mounted just ahead of the peeler bar. The limitations of the roll-on applicator are that the label must feed in the direction of product travel and the surface is usually flat or with a slight oval. The key to a successful roll-on application is that either the web speed must match the speed of the product or the product speed must match the speed of the label web.

Model 010 Wipe-On / Roll-On Applicator

The wipe-on application method utilizes the same principles of the roll-on applicator with the exception that a brush or wipe assembly replaces the roller. A wipe-on applicator is usually selected with products that have high and low areas in the label placement area (like a recessed panel, for example) or products that are irregular in shape.

LSI Air Cylinder Tamp Label Applicators

LSI air cylinder tamp applicators are accurate, easy to set up, and one of the commonly used methods of applying labels to products. Air is used to transferring the label onto a tamp pad. Through the use of a vacuum generator, the label is held on the tamp pad before it is applied to the product.
	Model 060TB Tamp Blow-On Applicator The model 060TB tamp/blow-on label applicator is used when the head and applicator combination can't be installed close to the application surface (within 1").The blow grid is mounted to an air cylinder that extends the grid to get within 1" of the product surface. Once fully extended, the label is blown on, and the cylinder returns to the home position. For heads that do not have a PLC control package, the APP-CP option is required.
	Model 060R Rubber Tamp Blow-On Applicator The Model 060R-Rubber and 060P-Delrin tamp/blow-on label applicators utilize a heavy duty tie rod type cylinder with a tamp pad design. These models feature a quick change mounting block assembly that makes for an easy change over process. The Model 060R utilizes a heavy-duty tie rod type cylinder. The tamp pad design features a quick change mounting block assembly for ease of change over to new tamp pad.
	Model 061R Rubber Tamp Blow-On Applicator The Model 061R-Rubber and Model 0641P-Delrin tamp/blow-on label applicators are available for all LSI labeling heads. These tamp applicators are typically specified on flat panel applications 6" x 4" or smaller.
	Model 065R Rubber Tamp Blow-On Applicator The Model 065R-Rubber tamp/blow on label applicator is specifically designed for smaller labels and with product application rates over 120 per minute.
	Model 071 Tamp Blow-On Applicator The Model 071 tamp/blow on label applicator is designed for label sizes that exceed 6" x 4" and up to 12" in length or width. This model contains a high-volume vacuum feature that allows for multiple sizes of labels to be applied without a change of parts.
	Model 075 Smart Tamp Blow-On Applicator The Model 075 tamp/blow-on applicator is a "Smart Tamp" because it is able to apply labels on products in which the heights or widths are presented to the applicator at random. The PLC controlled applicator automatically compensates stroke length to account for the variance. The cylinder extends until it makes contact with the package and then returns to the home position. For heads that do not have a PLC control package, the APP-CP option is required.
	Model 075TB Smart Tamp Blow-On Applicator The "Smart Tamp" is used for applications where product heights or widths are presented to the machine at random. The PLC controlled applicator automatically compensates stroke length to account for the variance. The cylinder extends until it makes contact with the package and then returns to the home position. For heads that do not have a PLC control package, the APP-CP option is required.

LSI Corner Wrap Applicators

Corner wrap applicators are used to apply labels on adjacent panels of a product. As the product approaches, the label is applied to the front of the panel, then swings around the corner and wipes the remaining portion of the label onto the adjacent side. Models are available that allow for front to side labeling and trailing to side panel labeling.
	Model 080 Corner Wrap Applicator The Model 080 corner wrap label applicator is able to apply a label to the front panel and side panel of your product. 	Model 081 Two-Stage Tamp Corner Wrap Applicator The Model 081 / Model 084 two stage tamp corner wrap applicator requires the product to be stopped momentarily at the point of application. 	Model 082 Side / Trailing Panel Corner Wrap Applicator The Model 082 side/trailing panel label applicator is a corner wrap applicator that is used when labels are to be applied without the product being stopped. 	Model 083 Two-Stage Tamp Corner Wrap Applicator This applicator contains a secondary wipe down roller that is mounted to the cylinder. LSI Blow-On Applicators

LSI's blow-on label applicators are designed for non-contact applications in which a burst of high pressured air is used to apply the label to the product. The blow-on applicators can apply labels at a higher rate of speed with no change of parts needed for labels up to 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" in size.

These models of blow-on applicators are universal and can be used with most label shapes and sizes. High volume vacuums are used to hold the labels until applied.

LSI Leading / Trailing Swing Arm Applicators

The leading / trailing swing arm applicators are designed to apply labels to cartons or pallets that are moving or stationary. These applicators apply labels to either the leading or trailing panel as well as the side panel. The PLC controls on the swing arm applicator allow for selection of either a two panel or single panel application. This allows the applicators to be flexible and versatile in the way your products are labeled.

Model 073/073V Leading-Trailing Swing Arm Applicator

This label applicator applies a label to either the leading or trailing panel as well as the side panel of a moving or stationary carton or pallet with the use of swing arms. The Model 073 can be oriented to the side of the carton to aid in the application process.

LSI Vacuum Grid Wipe-On Applicators

The vacuum grid label applicators are similar to a traditional wipe-on / roll-on style of applicator in that a vacuum grid plate is used to hold the label prior to the application of the label onto the product. The vacuum grid label applicator eliminates the need to match labeling speed with product speed because the applicator can handle applications where the product speed exceeds the dispense speed of the labeling head.

Model 025/026 Passive, Spring Loaded, Vacuum Grid Wipe-On Applicator

The Model 025 / Model 026 vacuum grid wipe-on applicators are designed to pre-dispense the label in front of the product. As the product moves through the applicator, a section will swing away allowing the product to move through.

Model 030/031 Active, Air Cylinder, Vacuum Grid Wipe-On Applicator

The Model 030 / Model 031 vacuum grid wipe-on applicators are used when either the label needs to be centered in the application area or the application surface is irregular. The applicators are specified as in-line, which means the labels are fed to the pivot side of the applicator.
